Overview

The e-CME in Stri Roga & Prasuti Tantra (SRPT) is designed to strengthen the understanding of Ayurvedic gynecology and obstetrics, with a focus on holistic care for women at different stages of life. The program provides participants with updated knowledge on disease management, preventive strategies, and maternal healthcare in light of classical Ayurvedic principles and contemporary clinical practices.

The curriculum includes:

  • Fundamentals of Stri Roga – pathogenesis and management of menstrual disorders, leucorrhea, endometriosis, PCOS, and other gynecological conditions.

  • Prasuti Tantra – Ayurvedic perspectives on antenatal care (Garbhini Paricharya), labor management, and postpartum regimen (Sutika Paricharya).

  • Infertility and reproductive health – Ayurvedic approaches and integration with modern diagnostics.

  • Preventive and promotive women’s health – diet, lifestyle, and Rasayana for female wellness.

  • Clinical updates – integration with modern obstetrics and gynecology for evidence-based practice.

This program benefits students, academicians, clinicians, and researchers, enabling them to apply Ayurvedic principles in managing women’s health, ensuring safe and effective outcomes in clinical practice.

Outcome: Enhanced knowledge, clinical skills, and confidence in applying Ayurvedic interventions for women’s health and maternal care, with certification upon completion.
