Overview

The e-CME in Panchakarma is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical insights into Ayurvedic detoxification and therapeutic procedures. The program emphasizes the scientific rationale, procedural skills, and clinical application of Panchakarma therapies in promoting health and treating disease.

The curriculum includes:

  • Principles of Panchakarma – understanding Shodhana (cleansing) and Shamana (palliative) therapies.

  • Detailed procedures – Vamana (therapeutic emesis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (medicated enema), Nasya (nasal therapy), and Rakta Mokshana (bloodletting).

  • Patient assessment and selection – considering dosha imbalance, disease type, and patient condition.

  • Preparation and post-care – Purvakarma (pre-procedure), Pradhanakarma (main procedure), and Paschatkarma (post-care) steps.

  • Safety and hygiene standards – maintaining therapeutic efficacy and patient well-being.

  • Integration with modern practices – incorporating diagnostics, monitoring, and evidence-based approaches.
